Welcome to Epicurus One. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Epicurus One platform, website at epicurus.one, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"), which are operated and provided by Leonova Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17038635 ("Leonova," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
The Service is provided to you by Leonova Technologies Ltd, which is your contracting party under these Terms. Leonova operates the Service, is responsible for delivering it to you, and is the data controller for personal data processed through it. Every reference in these Terms to "Epicurus One," "we," "us," or "our" means Leonova Technologies Ltd unless a different party is expressly named.
The Epicurus One platform and the intellectual property in it are owned by Cognivo FZ-LLC, a Dubai Free Zone company established in the United Arab Emirates, which builds the platform and licenses it to Leonova Technologies Ltd for operation and distribution. Cognivo FZ-LLC remains the owner of all such intellectual property at all times, and your rights under these Terms are a limited right to use the Service that transfers no ownership from either company to you. See Section 6 for the full intellectual property terms.
By accessing or using Epicurus One, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. Your continued use of the Service constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms as they may be updated from time to time.
If you obtained access to the Service through a website platform, marketplace, or authorised reseller rather than by subscribing directly at epicurus.one, these Terms still govern your use of the Service, but the billing, cancellation, and refund terms in Section 5 are replaced by the terms of that channel. Section 18 sets out what applies to you instead, and it prevails over Section 5 wherever the two differ.
Epicurus One is an AI-powered SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) & GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) content engine that automates the creation and publication of articles optimized for traditional search engines, AI search engines, and generative AI platforms. The Service includes, but is not limited to:
We continuously develop and improve the Service. Features may be added, modified, or removed at our discretion, and we will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes.
To use Epicurus One, you must create an account. By registering, you agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information, or that are being used in violation of these Terms.
Epicurus One offers a free trial under the following conditions:
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial offer at any time without prior notice. Free trial terms may vary and are subject to additional conditions as posted on our website.
When you subscribe directly at epicurus.one, the following plans are available:
Pricing is subject to change. We will provide reasonable advance notice of any price changes to existing subscribers. Current pricing is always available on our pricing page.
Plans obtained through a website platform, marketplace, or authorised reseller are priced, named, and metered by that channel and are not the plans listed above. The prices above do not apply to you if you subscribed through such a channel. See Section 18.
Each subscription is tied to a single website. If you wish to use Epicurus One for multiple websites, a separate subscription is required for each site.
For subscriptions purchased directly at epicurus.one, all payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the subscription fees on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your chosen billing cycle). We do not store or have access to your full payment card details.
Payments on this route are collected by Leonova Technologies Ltd, and the charge appears on your statement under a descriptor containing EPICURUS. If you do not recognise a charge, contact us at hello@epicurus.one before disputing it and we will identify it for you.
All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless canceled before the renewal date. You will be charged the applicable subscription fee at the start of each new billing period.
If you subscribed directly at epicurus.one, you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from your Epicurus One account settings. Changes to your plan take effect according to Stripe's standard billing practices.
If you obtained the Service through a website platform, marketplace, or authorised reseller, this subsection does not apply to you. You will not have access to the Stripe Customer Portal, and you must manage or cancel your subscription through that channel. See Section 18.
Subscription fees are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be issued for partial billing periods, unused time on a subscription, or months where you did not use the Service. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. Nothing in this paragraph limits any refund or cancellation right you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.
If a third party bills you for the Service, refunds are governed by that party's refund policy and must be requested from them, not from us. See Section 18.
You retain full ownership of all content generated by Epicurus One on your behalf, including AI-generated articles and AI-generated images. Once created, these materials are yours to use, modify, publish, and distribute as you see fit. We do not claim any ownership rights over content generated for you through the Service.
While Epicurus One generates content using advanced AI models, AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, require factual verification, or need editorial refinement. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before it is published on your website. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.
You retain ownership of all data, information, and materials you provide to the Service, including your website content, business profile information, and WordPress credentials. By providing this data, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use it solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.
The Epicurus One platform — including its software, source code, algorithms, models and prompt systems, user interface, design, branding, trademarks, and documentation — is and remains the exclusive intellectual property of COGNIVO FZ-LLC, a Dubai Free Zone company established in the United Arab Emirates under trade licence 0000004077695, at IDS Building, Office 02, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed St, Opp. Burjuman Center, Al Karama, Dubai. Cognivo FZ-LLC builds the platform and owns all Epicurus intellectual property; it licenses that platform to Leonova Technologies Ltd for operation and distribution, including distribution through marketplaces and authorised resellers. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Cognivo FZ-LLC.
These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for your own business purposes for as long as your subscription is active. They do not grant you any ownership of, or licence to exploit, the platform itself. You may not copy, modify, translate, create derivative works of, reverse-engineer, decompile, republish, sublicense, sell, rent, or otherwise commercialise the platform or any part of it, and you may not remove or obscure any proprietary notice. This restriction does not apply to the content generated for you, which is yours under the terms above.
Cognivo FZ-LLC is an intended third-party beneficiary of this Section and may enforce it directly against you. Nothing in these Terms transfers, assigns, or dilutes Cognivo FZ-LLC's ownership of the platform, and no act or omission by Leonova Technologies Ltd can do so.
By using Epicurus One, you agree to the following obligations:
You may not use Epicurus One for any of the following purposes:
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates these prohibitions, including suspending or terminating the offender's account and reporting them to law enforcement authorities.
Epicurus One relies on and integrates with several third-party services to deliver its functionality. These include, but are not limited to:
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices, availability, or performance of third-party services. Outages, changes, or limitations imposed by third-party providers may affect the availability or functionality of certain features of Epicurus One.
We strive to provide reliable and continuous access to Epicurus One, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Specifically:
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:
You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk and that you are solely responsible for any decisions made based on content or data provided by the Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EPICURUS ONE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE), EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you have not made any payments, our maximum liability shall not exceed fifty US dollars ($50.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Epicurus One and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
You may disable your account at any time through the Settings page in your Epicurus One dashboard. Disabling cancels any active subscription and returns the account to the free tier, and your data is preserved so that you can reactivate later. To have your data permanently erased instead, email us at hello@epicurus.one and we will action the request within one month, as described in our Privacy Policy. Disabling your account or cancelling a subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining billing period.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service, with or without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that:
Upon termination, whether by you or by us:
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, save that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect the intellectual property described in Section 6.
If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, the European Union, or another jurisdiction whose law grants you mandatory rights, nothing in this Section removes your right to rely on those rights or to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where the law of that country gives you that right.
You agree that any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after the claim arose, or it shall be permanently barred.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or through a notice on the platform. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
Epicurus One is available directly at epicurus.one and also through website platforms, marketplaces, and authorised resellers. This Section applies to you if you did not subscribe directly at epicurus.one, and where it differs from Section 5 (Subscription Plans & Billing), this Section prevails. Every other Section of these Terms continues to apply to you in full.
In every case you are using Epicurus One, supplied by Leonova Technologies Ltd and built on a platform owned by Cognivo FZ-LLC. Our partner programme grants resale rights only: it is not a white-label programme. No platform, marketplace, or reseller is permitted to rebrand the Service as its own product, present itself as its developer, or remove or replace our branding, and none of them acquires any ownership of the platform by selling it.
Where a platform, marketplace, or partner sells you the Service, that party is your merchant of record. It sets the retail price you pay, collects payment through its own systems, and controls renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and refunds. We never receive or store your payment card details on that route, and we cannot issue a refund for a payment we did not collect. Whether that party retains a share of your payment or buys from us at a partner rate and adds its own margin is a matter between it and us, and it does not change the price you agreed with them or the Service you receive.
To change or cancel your subscription you must use that party's own controls — typically by managing the subscription in your platform account or by removing the application from your site. The Stripe Customer Portal described in Section 5 is not available to you, and the prices listed in Section 5 are not the prices you pay. Removing or uninstalling the application ends your subscription and your access to the Service.
Refunds, billing disputes, and payment-method problems on this route are governed by that party's terms and must be raised with them. If they are unable to help and the issue concerns the Service itself rather than the payment, contact us at hello@epicurus.one and we will assist.
Your article allowance is determined by the plan you purchased in that channel, not by the plans in Section 5. The allowance is a ceiling, not a delivery schedule: articles are paced over the period by our scheduling engine, which takes into account the age, size, and search performance of your website, because publishing a large volume of content into a new website in a short burst can harm its search performance. This means a newer website may publish more slowly than its plan ceiling allows, and unused allowance does not necessarily carry over. You can see your current schedule at any time in your dashboard.
On the platform and marketplace route, the platform has already verified who you are, so your Epicurus One account may be created automatically when you activate the application. To do that, the platform shares account and website details with us — typically the account owner's name and email address, the website address, and the plan purchased. Our Privacy Policy explains what we receive and how we use it. You may not have a separate Epicurus One password on this route; you reach your dashboard from inside your platform, and certain account, billing, and team-management controls are unavailable because they are managed by the platform instead.
If you remove the application from your website, we retain your account and content for 60 days so that reinstalling restores your data. After that period the data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Articles already published to your website are unaffected and remain on your site.
Your access to the Service on this route depends on the continuing relationship between us and the platform or partner that supplied it. If that relationship ends, if the platform or partner stops distributing the Service, or if it fails to meet its obligations to us, your access may be suspended or terminated even though you are not at fault. Where that happens we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance and, where we are able to, offer you the option of continuing on a direct subscription with us.
If you obtained the Service through a marketplace or platform, product support is provided by us from inside the application, while billing support is provided by that platform. If you obtained the Service through an authorised reseller, that reseller is your first line of support for both, and we support the reseller. In every case you can reach us at hello@epicurus.one.
Reselling or redistributing the Service requires a separate written partner agreement with Leonova Technologies Ltd. These Terms do not grant any right to resell or sublicense the Service, and the prohibition in Section 8 continues to apply to anyone without such an agreement. Partner rates are commercially confidential, are never published, and are not available through the public pricing page — a partner may not disclose the rate it pays us to its own customers or to another partner. A partner agreement covers, at a minimum: the partner rate and which plans the partner is entitled to offer, since a partner may choose to sell some or all of them; that the partner sets its own retail price and keeps the difference as its margin, with no commission, revenue share, or cash-back paid by us — the partner programme is separate from our affiliate programme and the two cannot be combined on the same customer; that the partner collects payment through its own gateway and is the merchant of record to its customers; the reporting the partner must provide so that active users can be reconciled and billed; the support each side provides; and the data protection terms between us.
If you are a partner or reseller, you are responsible for your own agreement with your end customers, for collecting payment from them, and for meeting the consumer and data protection obligations that apply to you in your own market. You must not describe the Service in a way that misstates what it does, and you must not represent yourself as Leonova Technologies Ltd or Cognivo FZ-LLC. Ownership of the platform remains with Cognivo FZ-LLC at all times, and a partner agreement grants distribution rights only — never ownership, source code, or the right to rebrand.
